The Nokia Lumia 900 made a big splash at CES 2012 this year. If a Windows 7 phone ever had a chance to break into the smart phone market the Lumia 900 is the best chance so far.
The Lumia 900 has a great combination of design and speed. Even though it only has 2010 specs with it’s 512MB RAM and 1.4GHz single core processor it still runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS smoothly. It’s hard to get excited about a 1.4GHz single core processor when the 2011 standard smart phone has a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and there are even quad-cores coming out later in 2012.
The Lumia 900 will come in blue or black and Nokia has several nice exclusive applications and even some content for this phone. You can get CNN, Sesame Street, ESPN and others on launch.
There are tons of Android phones and iPhones that have better specs, arguably look better looks and have FAR more applications available then any Windows phone will ever have. However, if you want a nice phone that is different then everyone else, want nice basic smart phone experience and don’t care too much about special applications then the Nokia Lumia 900 might be right for you or your parents/grand parents.
The Nokia Lumia 900 is an upcoming AT&T phone to watch for sure.
