Motorola Atrix 3 Release Date: Fall 2012

Looks like the Atrix 3 has been renamed to the “Atrix HD“.

Motorola had a nice hit with the Motorola Atrix and then followed up with the modestly improved Atrix 2. They’re nice phones but not the “fastest”. It looks like Motorola is really putting the Motorola Atrix 3 on the map with the latest version.
They’re shooting for the stars with the Atrix 3 specs and including every high end feature the top 2012 smart phones will have. A full HD 720p display will be stretched across the 4.3″ screen matching the Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound.
The Atrix 3 processor will be the 2012 high end standard Tegra 3 quad-core beast.
The Atrix 3 will possibly be running on a whopping 2GB of RAM which is the rumored amount for the Galaxy S3 which also has basically the same specs.
Motorola might be taking a move from the very impressive Droid RAZR MAXX and including that ground breaking 3,300mAh batteyr in the Atrix 3 so it can actually run all day even if you’re using the 4G network.
How would you feel about a 10MP camera along with full HD 1080p video recording and a 720p front facing camera?
No word on the Android version, but if it for some reason doesn’t launch with Android 4.0, it will be available very soon.
